Fancy Holidaying Like a Celeb?

Celebrities have it all don’t they? Great looks, wealth, and their holidays simply blow ours out of the water. If you’ve always wanted to holiday like a celebrity you’re not alone and you’ll find that most of us dream of having everything provided for us and being able to stay in some of the most luxurious spots around the world.

But believe it or not, it is possible to holiday like a celeb without ruining your bank balance. Many celebrities actually rent out their homes to people like us when they’re not using them, so you can get a taste of the high life for much less than you would expect. You’ve probably heard of supermodel Christy Brinkley, but did you know that you can actually stay in one of her homes? The Lucky House has 3 bedrooms so you can stay with friends and family, and it also features a beachside fire pit, a huge infinity pool, on-site activities and a decking area for sunbathing. This house is only £4,544 per person each week, which works out to be relatively reasonable per night, especially when you compare the price of a hotel room.

Are you a fan of Mick Jagger? He used to own a beautiful Japanese-style villa on the beachfront, and with six different pavilions (all connected by covered walkways of course) you and your mates will pay just £1,244 per person for the week- a complete steal. You’re unlikely to want to leave once you spend time using the tennis court and pool and lounging in the hot tub.

If you like to follow the lives of the rich and famous, you should definitely consider staying in Orson Wells’ Los Angeles estate. Sure, its’s in a prime location above Sunset Boulevard, and also features a jacuzzi and awesome lagoon pool, but the real draw is staying in a place where so many famous heads have rested. Think Rita Hayworth, Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand and David Bowie for a start, and you and seven of your nearest and dearest can stay here at a super low £455 per person for the week.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved the idea of my own private island. And while you may not actually own it, Richard Branson does and he’s a man of excellent taste. This is the place to go for a wedding, family reunion or simply a huge party, as up to 30 people can sleep here, and you’ll find plenty of different activities to keep everyone entertained (as if you’d need it) while you’re living the celebrity lifestyle.

Finally, it’s hard to find someone who isn’t a fan of Elizabeth Taylor, and you can actually stay in her home. Located in Palm springs, you’ll be amongst her prized possessions, oil paintings and photos, for just £372 for each person for the week.
